Dead Body Of Fifteen Year Old Found In Pond

Fifteen Year Old Drowns In Pond In Kano State.

It is unfortunate for the family members of fifteen year old Mohammed Basa who drowned while bathing in a pond at Kuka Bulukiya Community in the Dala Local Government Area of Kano State.

The Spokesman for the Kano State Fire Service, Mr Saidu Mohammed,confirmed the incident to News Agency of Nigeria in Kano today

He said that the incident happened on Sunday when the deceased went to take his bath along with his friends.

“We received a distress call from one Malam Auwalu Dala at 12:40pm that Basa’s body was found floating in a pond.

“On receiving the information, we quickly sent our rescue team to the scene at 12:58pm

“Basa was found dead and his corpse was later handed over to the police.’’

The spokesman advised parents to prevail on their children and wards to stay away from water bodies to prevent harm coming to them.
