1. Boko Haram Beheads 43 Persons In Fresh Attack In Borno State

The Boko Haram Terrorist group on Saturday beheaded 43 farmers in Zabarmari, less than 20 km from Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, HumAngle reports. Zambarmari is located in Jere Local Government Area of Borno State, Naija News understands.

2. Amotekun Rescues Akeredolu’s Chief of Staff’s Wife

Men of the Ondo State Security Network also known as Amotekun Corps have rescued the wife of the Chief of Staff to Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, Olugbenga Ale. Naija News recalls that gunmen on Friday abducted Mrs. Ale around Owena after the Joseph Ayo Babalola University while on her way back to Ondo from Lagos State.

Uche Mefor did not resign as the IPOB Deputy Leader but was sacked, a new memo issued by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), a secessionist group in Nigeria, has revealed. The Muhammadu Buhari-led government has asked the British government to apologize over a claim by a member of its parliament that ex-Military ruler Yakubu Gowon looted Nigeria’s Central Bank. Victor Mela, a Gombe Lawmaker representing Billiri/Balanga federal constituency, who was sentenced to one-month imprisonment by a Magistrate Court, said he is not in jail. Naija News recalls that the Magistrate Court had on November 10, 2020, found the lawmaker guilty of lying under oath while filling the CD001 INEC form prior to the 2019 elections.

8. CBN Orders BDC To Sell Naira At N392/$

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has instructed Bureau De Change (BDC) operators in Nigeria to sell dollars at N392 to end-users. Naija News reports that the directive was given in a circular signed by O.S. Nnaji, director of trade and exchange at the CBN, and dated November 30, 2020.
