Gianluigi Donnaruma Finally Agrees Extension With Milan
The 18-year-old goalkeeper, Gianluigi Donnarumma, who had been linked with the exit door at Milan, has brought the long-running saga over his future to an end by committing to the San Siro club until 2021.
The teenage shot stopper has signed a new four-year deal with AC Milan to disappoint a host of high-profile suitors including Real Madrid and PSG .
Donnarumma, who is represented by agent Mino Raiola, had rejected an offer to extend his contract beyond 2018, but the promise of improved terms – thought to be €6million a year – have encouraged a change of heart.

Donnarumma’s decision to commit his future to Milan will further bolster Vincenzo Montella’s plans for 2017-18, as he hopes to challenge for the Serie A title next season.
Donnarumma became the second-youngest goalkeeper to play in Serie A when he made his Milan debut as a 16-year-old in 2015 and has since made the position his own as the club’s number one shot stopper.
