A San Francisco startup has recently created a safe and comfy tampon that ladies can wear during sex.

The innovative tampon named The Flex allows for women to enjoy “mess-free” sex during their periods.

The Flex tampon achieves this due to its curved, disc-like design similar to other menstruation products like the Mooncup.

The Flex Company product is worn inside of the vagina and fits against the cervix, creating a barrier which blocks blood from escaping.

The tampon is disposable and can be worn for up to 12 hours– four hours longer than the approved time for an average tampon.

Surprisingly, the tampon is practically undetectable by the woman or her partner during intercourse.

This is a dream come true for menstruating  ladies who love to make love to their spouses.
