Lil Wayne suffers seizures, hospitalised in Chicago

Award winning rapper Lil Wayne has been hospitalised after suffering a seizure and found unconscious in his Chicago hotel room, TMZ reported.

Lil Wayne, with real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. suffered multiple seizures at the hospital, his representative confirmed to TMZ.

Recall that the Grammy-winning rap star was treated about  a year ago after suffering what his representatives called two minor seizures.

Four years ago, 34-year-old  Lil Wayne, whose music career has spanned two-decades, spent several days at a Los Angeles hospital, after which he revealed to radio station Power 106 he was epileptic and prone to seizures.

Lil Wayne had been set to perform in Las Vegas late on Sunday night.
