See photos from Oba Oniru’s 80th birthday celebrations

The king of Iruland in Lagos, Oba Abiodun Oniru, celebrated his 80th birthday in grand style with the event playing host to the presence of several dignitaries including Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ooni of Ife; Oba Rilwan Akiolu, Oba of Lagos; as well as Aliko Dangote, Africa’s richest man.

The celebration started on Monday with a cultural day, followed by a thanksgiving service, and ending with a grand party at the Oba’s palace on Wednesday.

Recall as reported by Naija News, the king’s daughter, OAP Toolz, had earlier taken to her Instagram account to wish her father well and share pictures of her and her father on his birthday.
