Tagbo’s Death: Lagos Police summons Davido, Caroline

The Lagos State Police Command has begun investigation to uncover the circumstances surrounding the death of Tagbo Umeike.

As part of the line up of the investigation, the police has summoned singer, Davido and actress, Caroline Danjuma for questioning on Tagbo’s death.

Davido’s alleged connection to Tagbo’s death  surfaced during the week, when Caroline accused him (Davido) of dumping the deceased corpse at a hospital and absconding.

Caroline made the allegationon Tuesday, via her Instagram account, calling out the singer and demanding that he confesses .

Reacting to the accusations, Davido responded via his Snap Chat handle that “God knows the truth”, while deying any involvement in Tagbo’s death

However, the circumstances surrounding Tagbo’s death is still uncertain

In a bid to unravel the death the Lagos Commissioner of Police, Imohimi Edgar, invited Davido and Caroline to his office, for a interrogation.

During the interrogation, Davido provided a CCTV footage from Shisha Room (A lounge in Lekki where he and the deceased had celebrated Tagbo’s birthday,earlier in the night), to prove that he had left the lounge before the deceased and that Tagbo was not in his car.
