BREAKING: Gunmen attack Port Harcourt residents, kill 10

A group of gunmen, suspected to be cultists, have attacked people in Mgbosimiri, Agip axis of Port Harcourt in the early hours of Monday, killing at least 10 people.

Naija News learnt that a couple, a nursing mother among other residents have died of gunshot wounds during the ambush.

The fatal incident, has caused unrest among residents in the area.

Officers of the Nigerian Police have been deployed to the troubled area.

Although, reasons for the attack are yet to be discovered, the State Police Public Relations Officers, Mr. Nnamdi Omoni, confirmed the incident  to the Punch, adding that details of the attack are hazy.
