Misau to address Senate Panel on Tuesday
The Senator representing Bauchi Central in the National Assembly, Isah Hamman Misau, has been scheduled to appear before the Senate adhoc committee on Tuesday, to officially state his petition against the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Idris.
The the Deputy Chief Whip of the Senate, Francis Alimikhena, made the disclosure on Sunday in Abuja.
Alimikhena said , Misau, will speak with the committee and respond to questions from members of the investigation panel.
Alimikhena, said, “Senator Isah Hamman Misau will appear before the committee on Tuesday to answer to questions that will come up after his presentation and therefore, we take the next step.”

Senator Misau is expected to address the adhoc committee by 2pm.
Naija News recalls that Misau was charged by the federal government before a High Court of the Federal Capital Territory in Maitama, Abuja over allegations of making false injurious statements against the IGP, Idris.
However, Senator Misau pleaded not guilty to all the five counts.
The trial judge, Justice Ishaq Bello,granted him bail by in the sum of N5m with two reliable sureties in like sum.
