Babachir: FG fights war against opposition parties not against corruption – Fani-Kayode
-If Buhari does not prosecute Babchir and Oke then his anti-corruption fight is partial – Fani-Kayode
Femi Fani-Kayode says truth about President Buhari’s anti-corruption war is that, it is an anti-opposition fight.
Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has made demands to President Muhammadu Buhari, following the sack of the Secretary General of the Federation, Babachir Lawal and the Director-General, National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ambassador Ayo Oke.
Fani-Kayode reacting to the sack, stated that it is not enough to dismiss the government officials but to prosecute them for their alleged involvement in corrupt practices. He added that if the fired officials are not arraigned then it shows the existence of partiality in Buhari’s administration.
The ex-minister further alleged that there is no anti-corruption fight, rather a “baseless and relentless” persecution of members of opposition parties”
