What Boss Mustapha said about Buhari, Lawal

The newly-appointed Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, has said President Muhammadu Buhari, is a man who has sincere compassion for the affliction of Nigerians.

The new SGF said, “He [President Buhari] has compassion for the suffering people of this nation”.

However, Mustapha assured that the current government led by the All Progressives Congress would recover what the country has lost and relieve the masses of their suffering.

Mustapha made the disclosure on Wednesday in Abuja, after been sworn in as the new the SGF and handed over the mantle of leadership by the Acting SGF, Mrs Habiba Lawal at a brief ceremony in his office.

He applauded Lawal for her performance during the period she acted as the SGF sequel to the suspension of the former SGF, Babachir Lawal by the President over accusations of corrupt praticies.

He said: “We have the responsibility of ensuring that this government succeeds. If this government does not succeed, it means that we have not done our jobs well.

“We are supposed to coordinate the policies of this government, monitor the implementation of policies and ensure that the right thing is done,” he said.
