JAMB slashes application fees from $150 to$20 for foreign candidates

UTME: Price of application form slashed from $150 to $20.
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board has reduced the application fees for foreign-based candidates from $150 to $20 per candidate.
According to the board, the development is to restructure the application fees to be in line with fees for other public examination in other countries.
The price reduction was arrived at during a stakeholders meeting organized to seek and incorporate valuable opinions to the board’s plans in order to achieve a better 2018 JAMB examination.

During the meeting, JAMB Registrar, Professor Ishaq Oloyede listed several plans by the Board to achieve a better conduct of its examination.
Stakeholders outlined plans to make sure candidates are adequately informed on the procedures of the JAMB examination.
Meanwhile, sales of forms for the examination is scheduled to begin on 22nd of November till 22nd of January 2018 with the examination proposed to run between ninth and seventeenth of March, 2018.
