Adeniran speaks on Fresh PDP
A defeated aspirant for the chairmanship of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prof. Tunde Adeniran, has distanced himself from the Fresh PDP.
Naija News recalls that a group made up of a number of defeated PDP chairmanship seat set up a faction in the party called Fresh PDP and opened a secretariat for the faction in Abuja.
The founding members of the group include Prince Obi Nwosu, Alhaji Hassan Adamu, Chief Olusola Akindele, Chief Godwin Duru and Franklyne Edede made up the group.
Speaking in Abuja through the Director of his Campaign Organization, Shehu Garban, Adeniran said anyone with genuine grievances had the liberty to express them but warned that the former minister should not be linked to Fresh PDP.
Reacting to the his campaign team member joining the aggrieved group, Adeniran clarified that he did not “send anyone to the group.”
He added that; “We do not know them. They don ’t represent us and we have nothing to do with them. Whoever is there doesn’t represent us.”
