A former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Dahiru Musdapher, dies at age 75.
Naija News gathered that the he passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, but the cause of his death is yet to be known.
The late Justice’s family members broke the news on the social media.
The deceased brother, Muneer Musdapher wrote, “My elder brother Justice Dahiru Musdapher former CJN passed on tonight.”
The jurist, who retired from bench five years ago on attaining the compulsory retirement age of 70, hailed from a family of emigrant Kanuri scholars and jurists in Babura local government of Jigawa state.
He was appointed CJN by former President Goodluck Jonathan, upon the exit of Justice Alysious Katsina-Alu, almost a year to his retirement.
