Obasanjo’s Open Letter: Give Us Time To Study It – APC
The national leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has appealed that the party be allowed some time to react properly to former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s open letter to President Muhammadu Buhari not to vie the 2019 presidential election.
Obasanjo expressed in his letter to the President that Buhari and the APC as a whole, have completely failed the Nigerian people.
The APC National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, responding to the letter said: “The APC has asked to be given the opportunity to study the statement. We shall respond appropriately afterwards.”
Regardless, to the Peoples Democratic Party, Obasanjo’s counsel is courageous, timeous and patriotic.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, in a statement in Abuja, expressed that it is evident that the Buhari-led government and the APC have hopelessly failed the country.
Ologbondiyan included that Nigerians have already taken an unchangeable position against them ahead of the 2019 elections.
However, the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has advised that the APC should be allowed to decide Buhari’s fate. The advise was made known in a statement issued by the ACF National Publicity Secretary, Muhammad Ibrahim Biu.
