Mmesoma: Reps Comment On JAMB's Actions In Recent UTMEs

The House of Representatives has directed the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, to apologise to Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom.

The Force Public Relations Officer, Mr. Jimoh Moshood, speaking in an interview with Channels Television on Tuesday, Feruary 6, described Governor Ortom as a “drowning man”.

The House while debating a motion on the killings by alleged herdsmen in Benue State, specifically ordered the Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Ibrahim Idris, to apologise to the State Governor, Mr. Samuel Ortom.

The motion seeks the immediate removal of the Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO), Jimoh Moshood, for the derogatory remarks against the Benue Governor.
