President Muhammadu Buhari today, 13th February, 2018, played host to former head of state, Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
As at press time, details of discussions between the two leaders had not been made public.
Gen. Abubakar in 1999, successfully handed power to a democratically elected Nigerian president, ending several years of military rule in the country.
