JUSUN suspends strike in Nasarawa
The Nasarawa State chapter of Judicial Staff Union of Nigeria, has suspended its infinite strike which commenced on Feb.16.Naija News learnt
The union who embarked on the strike to press home its demands for implementation of promotion, annual increment, among others explained that he suspension followed an agreement reached between the union and the state government.
The State JUSUN Chairman, Jimoh Musa, said that the state government at a meeting attended by the Head of Service, representatives of the court and the union, agreed to set up a committee to look into the demands. Musa also said thecommittee had one month to submit its report.
Musa, while explaining the decision of the union also noted that , “if after the window period of one month nothing was done, the members would continue with the strike.’’
