Black Panther Breaks Another Record
Black Panther, the blockbuster American superhero movie has clinched the third spot on the list of highest grossing movie in North American box office.
The third spot was previously occupied by 1997 blockbuster “Titanic” with a little over $659 million, however, the African-themed superhero film shot ahead with a remarkable $665, 335, 740.
The Ryan Coogler movie has its eyes on the second spot being occupied by 2009 blockbuster “Avatar” with a $760 million grossing. Still on the top spot is 2014 “Star Wars: The Force Awaken” with a mind-boggling amount of $936 million.
“Black Panther” however, globally, sits on the 10th spot way behind “Avatar” which sits on the top with $2.8 billion followed by “Titanic” with $2.2 billion.
Starring Chad Boseman, the Black Panther movie currently grosses over $1.3 billion worldwide, barely eight weeks after it was premiered. This has made the movie the fastest rising successes Hollywood box office has ever produced.
