2019: Sultan Advises Politicians Against Hate Speeches

Sultan of Sokoto State and President-General of the Jama’atu Nasril Islam, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar lll has advised politicians to avoid any form of hate speeches in the forthcoming 2019 general elections.
He said rather than engage in hate speech, politicians should savour democracy and provide its dividend to the people.
This, Abubakar stated at the annual pre-Ramadan lecture of the JNI, held at the JNI headquarters, Kaduna State
He said he was concerned about the attitude of politicians and also the happenings in Kaduna State.
He called on politicians in the state to desist from hate speeches.
Earlier in his address, the Secretary General of JNI, Dr. Khalid Abubakar, called on the Muslim community to uphold the tenets of Islam during the Ramadan fast.
He also urged the Muslim community to be vigilant about security within their environment.
