PDP Describes Buhari’s Declaration Of June 12 As Hypocritical
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), which is the main opposition party in Nigeria, has joined other notable politicians as well as Nigerian individuals to react to President Muhammadu Buhari’s declaration of June 12 as Democracy Day.
Reacting to this unsuspected moved by President Buhari, The PDP on its official twitter account described the move as hypocritical.
In its Official Twitter Account the party held that “President @MBuhari, who was serving in the military administration of General Sani Abacha during the travails of Chief MKO Abiola, did not associate either by words or actions with the late winner of June 12 election.”
