FG Denies Retaining N-Power Beneficiaries In The Civil Service

Following the continued spread of a rumour suggesting that President Muhammadu Buhari has directed that 2016 beneficiaries of the N-Power scheme should be absorbed into the federal civil service, administrators of the scheme have now released an official statement on the matter.

In a terse statement made available to Naija News, the administrators of the scheme said the rumour is fake and untrue.

“It has come to our attention that some people are sharing the FAKE news that the President has asked that the 2016 beneficiaries be retained in the Civil service.”

“Please disregard the news. It is NOT true.”

Earlier, Naija News reported that some first batch of N-Power beneficiaries are nursing fear and anxiety over what becomes their fate when the agreed two years for the scheme expires.
