Nigerians Tweet In appraisal Of June 12 Investiture
As President Muhammadu Buhari took time out to honour MKO abiola, as well as a host of others who championed the 1993 election cause, yesterday, Nigerians have expressed their views at the event.
While Many have expressed delight at the unexpected gesture, some have taken to their twitter handle to probe the President’s action.
Some others have pointed out clearly that June 12 is gone, “lets face realities”
Naija News recalls that the president honoured Family members of Winner of the annulled 1993 Elections, MKO Abiola, Gani Fawehinmi’s family members, Babangana Kingibe among others.

#June12 is gone. Can we now focus on our realities?
The declaration of June 12 as a democracy day is well deserved & a smart move by Buhari to play on our emotions.
This should in no way determine how anyone should vote for the future of Nigeria in the coming 2019 election.
