APC Has Performed Below Expectation -Jerry Gana

Prof. Jerry Gana, a former Minister of Information, has said that the All Progressive Congress (APC)-Led federal government have performed far below the expectations of Nigerians.

The Former Minister made this known in Makurdi on Monday, during his interactions with newsmen on the sidelines of the Middle Belt Forum mega rally.

Gana stated that President Muhammadu Buhari has failed woefully in his primary responsibility which is to ensure the security of Nigerians.

“Because the Constitution of Nigeria said and we agreed with it, that the security and safety of people is the primary responsibility of government and any government that cannot do that has failed, therefore, this APC government has failed, failed and failed woefully,” he said.

He added that the Federation unit can only have the constitutional power and authority to look after the basic needs of their citizens, if restructuring of the country, devolution of power is carried out.

“We love peace, we love freedom, we love the federal republic of Nigeria but we’ll never accept that our lands are taken away from us and will become homeless people in our own country. It’s not possible,” Gana concluded.
