Buhari Plans To Stop Defection Of Party Members

Rabiu Kwakwanso, former Kano State Governor, on Monday night met with President Muhammadu Buhari, in a closed door meeting.

Report has it that the meeting was aimed at ensuring that some aggrieved members of the ruling All Progressives Congress do not leave the party.

The meeting that was held inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja, had the presence of some Senators.

Adams Oshiomhole, the National Chairman of the APC, also attended the meeting with some aggrieved members of the party and the President.

Some state governors were also said to be in attendance.
