Just In: 37 House Of Rep Members Dump APC
APC Loses Members To Opposition Parties
There seems to be more trouble coming for the All Progressives Congress party as 37 House of Representatives members under the party have today, defected to the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) and African Democratic Congress (ADC).
In the defection letter read by the Speaker of the House, Yakubu Dogara, the lawmakers cited fictionalization and division in the party as their reason for leaving.

Meanwhile A mild drama occurred this morning at the entrance of the House of Representatives as members of the green chamber were seen chanting the names of Speaker, Yakubu Dogara, alongside that of the Deputy Minority Leader, Chukwuka Onyema (PDP, Anambra), in a celebration mood.
In contrast, however, the lawmakers were making jest of Majority Leader, Femi Gbajabiamila (APC, Lagos) in what appears to be an indicator of what to expect later in today’s plenary.
