While some Nigerians took to twitter to criticize the federal government, some have upheld the President of the Senate as being bold to appear to preside over the senate session yesterday in spite of the move against him.
Furthermore many have reacted over the Senate president’s refusal to defect or state which party he is sticking to.

I support what Saraki is doing because I am pragmatic, and he's the right man for the job at this point in time. Men will have to do this job, not angels.
How will Nigeria benefit if Buhari consolidates power? As he neither has the vision nor the competence to move us forward.

Bukola Saraki should never become President, please. He is ruthless and unscrupulous in pursuit of power, yet lacks the vision or will to use it in our favor. With his smarts and political know-how, if he gets in, he will never leave. he will lose the victory of 2019 Insha Allah

Nobody wanted to impeach Saraki. And right now without Saraki and his minions, APC still has majority. So will a minority party now lead the Senate? https://t.co/4cq5cXeT1l

I think saraki has watched too much of house of cards or game of thrones. 😂
Now that all the defection has been defected, what next? I hope you know that they didn’t defect for greater good of the people? It’s all about their interest. It has always been.— Farida Kabir (@reedahkh) July 24, 2018
