The former National Publicity Secretary Of APC, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi who recently resigned his position as well as his membership of the party has given reasons for his defection from the All Progressives Congress party.

Abdullahi who released a press statement says he had endured the flagrant usurpation of his role as spokesman of the party in a manner he considers unbefitting of a ruling party and inconsistent with his ethical standards.
However, in a situation whereby my loyalty is constantly brought into question; my subordinates deployed to subvert my office; and my views constantly second-guessed on the basis of my political affiliation, it has become imperative for me to review my position.

I have served the APC honestly and to the best of my ability and when I stood for and won my election at the last convention, it was a keen desire to continue to do so.

Abdulahi’s exit is coming at a time when his political principal, the Senate President returned to the Peoples Democratic Party.
In view of recent political developments in the country and within the All Progressives Congress (APC), I have decided to resign my position as the National Publicity Secretary as well as my membership of the party with effect from today.

Glad to hear that my friend and brother, National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Bolaji Abdullahi, has dumped the APC. The Deputy Publicity Secretary, Timi Frank, dumped the APC long ago. It appears that the APC is imploding. The few smart people that are there are leaving!
