43 Senators Sign To Stand Against Impeachment Of Saraki And Ekweremadu (See List)
Senators Indicate Support For Senate President Bukola Saraki
Events seem to remain in favour of Dr. Bukola Saraki to remain as Senate President as 43 members of the National Assembly have signed in support of him.
While their has been defense calls against a purported plan to impeach Bukola Saraki, the implication of the above is that it will be impossible to impeach the senate president as 73 Senators are required to impeach the senate president.
In a tweet by Doyin Okupe, ex-special assistant to former President Obasanjo (Media & Publicity) and ex-senior special assistant to former President Jonathan (public affairs), the list of the members who have appended their signatures was revealed.
