National Assembly Leadership Meeting Put Off

The expected meeting between the leadership of the National Assembly and INEC officials earlier scheduled for noon on Tuesday, has been put off, Naija News understands.

This was made public by Honourable Yusuf Lasun, deputy speaker of the house of representatives, while speaking to newsmen at the entrance of the National Assembly Complex in Abuja.

Recall Senate President Bukola Saraki, through his media aide had called the meeting after several calls on the lawmakers to reconvene and consider issues of national importance.

Operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS), mounted a siege earlier in the morning preventing access to the complex.
