Donald Trump In-Laws Officially Become Citizens

The Parents of United States’ First Lady, Melania Trump have officially become a legal citizen of the country.

Michael Wildes, their lawyer, while confirming the development to Fox News revealed that Viktor and Amalija Knavs took the citizenship oath on Aug. 9.

Melania’s parents have been living in the United States as lawful permanent residents.

Melania Trump was raised in Slovenia by her parents, while the country was still under Communist rule.

After the oath taking ceremony in Manhattan, the couple were seen to be escorted by homeland security.

Amalija Knavs, 73, was employed in a textile factory, while Viktor was a car dealer.

According to NAN, the couple made headlines in May after they were seen visiting a federal building in New York City with their immigration attorney.
