Eid-el-Kabir: FG Declares Tuesday, Wednesday, Public Holidays

Tuesday, Aug. 21, and Wednesday, Aug. 22 has been declared by the Federal government as public holidays to celebrate the 2018 Eid-el-Kabir.

Retired Lt.-Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau, the Minister of Interior, in a statement, through Dr Mohammed Umar, the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, made the development known on Thursday in Abuja.

Dambazau, who wished Nigerians a happy Eid-el-Kabir celebration, admonished Nigerians to use the period to embrace the virtues of love and sacrifice for the unity and development of the country.

He also urged Nigerians home and abroad to support the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, as he makes effort to ensure peace and security in the country
