Houses in Makurdi, Benue State Capital, has been reported to have suffered from flood due to heavy rainfall in the area.
Values worth millions of Naira were stated to have been swept away following a the devastating flood.
The flood happened as a result of a heavy downpour that lasted for more than four hours, overnight into the early hours of Monday.
Further report reveals that houses around the Pila, Uni-Agric Road, Nyiman, Idye and Naka road areas have been drenched while occupants have been rendered homeless.
