Saraki Attends 2018 Ojude Oba Festival
Senate President Bukola Saraki stormed the 2018 Ojude Oba festival in Ogun state in style where he was warmly received by a cheering crowd.
Saraki upon arrival, acknowledged cheers from the crowd before heading to the seat of the Awujale of Ijebu Kingdom, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, to pay homage before taking his seat beside him to enjoy the cultural festival.
“The Ojude Oba festival, held annually in Ijebu Ode, is a celebration of the rich and colourful culture of the Yoruba people. This is why, today, it was an honour to join the Awujale of Ijebu Kingdom, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, at this year’s edition,” he said concerning the festival.

Naija News gathered the Ojude-Oba festival is held annually, two days after Eid-el-Kabir celebrations, as an age-old tradition of Ijebu indigenes in honour of the town’s king.
The colourful ceremony features mock wars and horse display by various warlord families, as tourists usually troop in to enjoy the cultural atmosphere.
