Saraki declares intention to contest 2019 presidential election

The senate president Dr Bukola Abubakar Saraki has declared is intention to contest as Nigeria President come 2019 Naija News can authoritatively report.

He made his intention to run for president known at Sheraton Hotel in Abuja while addressing young politicians and aspirants who are interested in running for public office in 2019.

A statement forwarded to Naija News by Special Assistant on New Media to the President of the Senate, Olu Onemola read “The President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has just declared his intention to seek the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”

Saraki in the past few week had been holding close-door meeting with bigwigs in the Nigerian political circle, he recently met with past presidents  Badamosi Babangida, Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan respectively.
