Buhari, EFCC Witch-Hunting Fayose – Nigerians Speak
Nigerians Probe As EFCC Places Fayose On Watch List
Nigerians have reacted following the Economics Financial Crimes Commission’ EFCC directive to the Nigerian Customs Service to place Governor Ayodele Fayose on watch list.
Naija News reported how EFCC in a letter told NCS to monitor Fayose’s movement to prevent him from travelling out of the country. This was followed by a circulation to other security operatives.
In a series of tweets, some Nigerians noted that EFCC acting Chairman, Ibrahim Magu was a partisan of President Muhammadu Buhari and as such he is being used by the President to witch hunt Fayose
Others did a memory lane, recalling that resigned Finance Minister Kemi Adeosun traveled out of the country over the weekend while the case of her forged National Youth Service Corps, NYSC exemption Certificate is yet to be prosecuted but Fayose a sitting governor is banned as though he were a contraband.

Just seeing this letter by EFCC and I feel sorry for what Buhari is calling DEMOCRACY. Fayose still has immunity as governor. He has the right to travel to anywhere in world until the end of his tenure.

EFCC placed a sitting governor like Fayose, with constitutional immunity on watch list & not allowed to leave the country, but someone like Kemi Adeosun with criminal offence & no immunity, left the country with no EFCC stopping her. Double standard, & selective prosecution.

A suppose chairman of an independent organization wearing the Lapel pin of a presidential aspirant, how else do prove that @officialEFCC is partisan and that the case against Fayose is witch-hunt. #FayoseIsNotAfraid pic.twitter.com/0HMXzqFsNE

Hold on guys, was this letter supposed to be to Customs or Immigration? Is Fayose a contraband or smuggled product?
