Reno Omokri Speaks On How Buhari Has Killed Many Security Troops

Reno Omokri, an aide to the former President Goodluck Jonathan has said continuous declaration by President Muhammadu Buhari and the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai  that the Boko Haram insurgents has been “Technically defeated” is false and misleading.

He also blamed this alleged false declaration as the reason for which many security troops have been killed by the insurgents, because they were caught off guard.

Omokri through his Twitter handle said: President @MBuhari and the Chief of Army Staff should stop saying that Boko Haram is “technically defeated” or “degraded”. It is untrue. It also gives a false sense of security to our troops, making them drop their guard. That’s why so many soldiers have died recently #RenosDarts
