APC Sets Up Screening And Appeal Committees For 386 Senate And 1,587 House Of Rep Aspirants
The ruling All Progressives Congress has inaugurated the screening and appeal committee to screen 386 Senate and 1,587 House of Representatives’ aspirants.
Adams Oshiomhole, the National Chairman of the party, revealed the inauguration of the screening and appeals committee at a short ceremony at the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja, on Thursday.
Some of the chairmen of the various committees include former Senate President, Ken Nnamani, former Edo and Bayelsa states governors, Prof Oserheimen Osunbor, Chief Timipre Sylva.
Others are Senators Ahmed Sani Yarima, Bukar Abba Ibrahim and Olorunnimbe Mamora, the decision was revealed in a statement released by the party on Thursday.
The statement, which was released by the party’s media department, read, “The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Mr Adams Oshiomhole, on Thursday, inaugurated high-level legislative screening and appeals committees for the Party’s 386 Senate; 1,587 House of Representatives’ aspirants.
“Prof Oserheimen Osunbor, Chief Timipre Sylva, Senator Ahmad Sani Yerima, Senator Ken Nnamani, Sharon Ikeazor, Senator Bukar Abba Ibrahim, and Senator Olorunnimbe Mamora are among heads of committees.”
