#OsunDecides2018: Live Updates From Osun 2018 Governorship Election

The campaigns are over, the time has come Osun state residents to decide who will govern them for the next four years, The Osun State governorship election holds today September 22.

According to the document obtained by Naija News from Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, 48 political parties are contesting in the election.

Most notable among the gubernatorial candidates, not listed in order of political strengths, are Fatai Akinbade for the Advanced Democratic Congress (ADC); Moshood Adeoti for the Action Democratic Party (ADP); Gboyega Oyetola for the All Progressives Congress (APC); Ademola Adeleke for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP); and Iyiola Omisore for the Social Democratic Party (SDP).

12:05 AM: Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola cast his vote for the 2018 Osun Gubernatorial Election at Ifofin ward 8 unit 1, Ilesa East.

11:22 AM: Governorship candidate of the SDP, Otunba Iyiola Omisore casting his vote at the moment.

10:57 AM: The candidate of the African Democratic Congress in the Osun governorship election, Fatai Akingbade, voted at 10.35am at Ward 3, Unit 123, Ogbagba,, Ola-Oluwa LGA

10:53 AM: The governorship candidate of the Providence People’s Congress, Prof Ife Adewumi, has said he has no complaint about the election yet. He said although it was too early to conclude that the election was satisfactory, he has no reason to complain yet.
