Ensure Terrorists Do Not Have Freedom – Buratai Urges Army

Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Tukur Buratai today called on ordered field commanders in the Theatre of Operation in the Northeast to henceforth ensure that terrorist groups do not have the freedom to attack.

Barutai who spoke through the army spokesman, Brig.-Gen Texas Chukwu, gave the order at the army Headquarters Operations Room, while receiving weekly operations brief from Theatre Command and other Field Commanders.

In last three weeks, one major attacks was recorded at Damasak in Borno North, where the 145 Battalion is located.

The terrorists were eventually neutralized.

The attack was however foiled and the terrorists were subsequently neutralized.
