Meek Mill To Be Presented With Inaugural Billboard Power Players Award

American rapper, Meek Mill, will be presented the inaugural Billboard Power Players Award for his contributions in the fight for reform in the criminal justice system that segregates against people of different race in the United States.

According to XXL, CNN’s Van Jones will present Meek with the award, and this comes four months after Meek was released from a Pennsylvania state prison on bail after being sentenced last November to two to four years in prison.

The rapper presently is fighting the probation violation charge that led to the sentence, however, he is being recognised for his heroic act.
