Atiku Meets Obasanjo In Abeokuta

The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar is presently in a meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo at his Presidential Library in Abeokuta.

The meeting is being held at the residence of the ex-president within the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), Abeokuta.

Naija News learnt that the former Vice President arrived Obasanjo’s residence at about 1.17pm and was accompanied by the National Chairman of PDP, Uche Secondus, former Governor of Rivers State, Liyel Imoke, former Governor of Ogun State, Gbenga Daniel, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce among others.

The purpose of the meeting, though not disclosed to newsmen, may not be unconnected to the presidential ambition of Atiku and the need to secure Obasanjo’s support against other aspirants.
