Nigerians React As Boko Haram Kills Another Health Worker
Days after Boko Haram terrorists made threats on the life of the the International Committee of the Red Cross, ICRC worker, Hauwa Liman and Leah Sharibu, it eventually killed the health worker, yesterday, Naija News reports.
This tragedy has dampened and vexed the spirit of many Nigerians as they took to Twitter to express their grief and regrets at the incidence.
Recall also that alarms and warnings had been made, hours to the assassination; the ICRC on Sunday raised alarm that the Boko Haram threatened to kill Hauwa Liman within the next 24 hours.
Ms Liman was kidnapped alongside others in March in Rann, Borno State, when the insurgents attacked a camp for displaced persons.
Recall one of the kidnapped aid workers, Saifura Khorsa, had been killed in September, thus bringing back sad memories for Nigerians who took to twitter in their thousands to mourn while criticizing the federal Government for inadequate efforts at saving the lives of the victims.

Hauwa Liman's tragic end is quite a traumatising story, for someone who put herself in harm's way to contribute to solving our humanitarian crisis. May her family find the strength to overcome this huge loss, this other betrayal of a citizen by the Nigerian state.

The execution of Hauwa Liman is so heartbreaking 💔ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
May Allah forgive her and grant her jannatul Firdaus.— Ihsaan🌹 (@GrillsNpastries) October 15, 2018
I feel weak. We knew Hauwa Liman was abducted. We knew they gave the country a deadline. We knew they kept to their deadline & executed Saifuwa. We did nothing till Hauwa was killed. Just like that. There is a deep sadness in my soul. The terror she must have felt. We failed her.
