Transfer News: Chelsea And Milan Negotiate Exchange Between Strikers Álvaro Morata And Gonzalo Higuain
Milan and Chelsea Managers did not stop working at Christmas. The two teams are negotiating an exchange of attackers that would lead Alvaro Morata to Italian football and Gonzalo Higuain to England.
According to Mediaset , the deal is basically closed and the official announcement should be made as early as January 1, 2019. At first, the exchange would be on loan, and the clubs would have the option to buy after this period.
Higuain, an Argentine striker in his first season with the Rossoneri, entered the field 18 times this season, rocked the opposing networks seven times and gave three assists. The center-forward had tickets to Real Madrid, Napoli, Juventus and River Plate.
Morata is 26 and has been defending Chelsea for two seasons. The Spanish player scored seven goals in 21 matches this season. Throughout his career, he also defended Real Madrid and Juventus.
