Groups Say No To The Plan T0 Impeachment Of Governor Ambode

There is a protest ongoing by some groups at the Lagos State House of Assembly over the purported plan to impeach the state Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode.

The assembly had accused Ambode of gross misconduct, not signing into law the 2019 budget among other infractions.

However, Naija News learned that the impeachment of the governor was founded on the allegation by some of the political enemies that he is funding the campaign of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Jimi Agbaje.

With placards with inscriptions saying “No to Impeachment”, “We stand with Ambode”, among others the group crowded the complex.
