You Need To Reduce Levies, Taxes Collected - Fashola Tells Sanwo-Olu

The Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola has on Saturday exposed President Muhammadu Buhari on the real reason the president is not used to writing letters.

Naija News reports that Fashola gave the shocking revelation at the Presidential Campaign of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city.

Buhari arrived Lagos during the early hours of Saturday, February 9 for the presidential campaign in the state where he was received by the mammoth crowd of his supporters.

The tripartite minister in his revelation said that Buhari is too busy to write letters.

Fashola said this when he tried to pick-on the former president, Olusegun Obasanjo for being very busy to writing letters in recent times.

Obasanjo had in recent times written several letters of criticism and advise to his successors, including Buhari on multiple occasions.

In his words, Fashola said; “Mr President, I have spoken to our people extensively in Yoruba before you arrived.

“I have delivered your message and the message of your government and our party to them – that ‘Next Level’ means jobs, from Mambilla, to the road projects, to the factories, roads from Apapa all the way to Oworonshoki…”

“I have told them that you don’t have time to write letters; you get the job done. I welcome you, especially because this is my own village. This is my own ‘Daura’ in Lagos. This is Surulere. This is the first city, and this is where, historically, the first dollar was devalued four years ago.

In a similar development, it would be recalled Naija News had reported that President Buhari allegedly stopped the opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from holding its campaign in Abuja.
