2019 Election: Group Backs Buhari, Ogboru, Elijah Wilkie

The Delta South Coalition has resolved to back the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Muhammadu Buhari.

The coalition after a meeting on Wednesday also threw its weight behind the APC governorship candidate in the state, Olorogun Great Ogboru.

In a statement sent to Naija News, the group also adopted Barrister Itse Elijah Wilkie as the Senatorial candidate for Delta South under the platform of the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN).

The coalition, which is made up of aggrieved members of all political parties, urged all progressives to reject oppressive persons that have brought penury and poverty to the people of Delta State.

Those in attendance at the meeting were representatives of Isoko Progressives Youth, Isoko Progressives Nation, Ijaw Progressives Mass Movement, Ijaw Youth Must Move Forward, MEIN United Youth Movement, Itsekiri Youth Movement and Urhobo Youth For Positive Change.
