Nigerians Adopt PDP’s Atiku As Their Val
Some Nigerians have adopted the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Nigeria’s main opposition party, Atiku Abubakar, as their Val.
Naija News understands that “Valentine’s Day” is celebrated worldwide February 14 annually.
Valentine’s Day originated as a Western Christian feast day honouring one or two early saints named Valentinus. The Day is recognized as a significant cultural, religious, and commercial celebration of romance and romantic love in many regions around the world, although it is not a public holiday in any country.
In the celebration of Valentine’s Day, some Nigerians took to the micro-blogging site, Twitter to adopt the PDP Presidential candidate as their Val.
Naija News captured some of the comments below…
If you vote APC, you are voting Abba Kyari (as President) and Mamman Daura as the Vice President. Buhari is not mentally sound now. He needs to rest.

There is something fascinating about the @atiku and @PeterObi candidacy:
The duo are action oriented. Atiku rose to the top from nobody to somebody through the instrumentality of hard work. Obi excels at anything he handles.
This is the kind of leadership we want!#AtikuMyVal pic.twitter.com/db59dV1vK3

For believing in me and other young people and for seeing us as "vibrant" ,"resourceful" and "hardworking" when some other fellow called us "lazy" and "entitled", #AtikuMyVal has my vote.#LetsGetNigeriaWorkingAgain pic.twitter.com/ziXVaxPXJL
