See How Reno Omokri Reacted As Saraki Loses Senate Seat

Former presidential media aide Reno Omokri has reacted as Senate President Bukola Saraki lost his bid to return to the National Assembly.

Saraki lost to Dr Yahaya Oloriegbe of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Saturday’s Senatorial election

The APC Senatorial candidate polled a total of 123, 808 votes to defeat the Senate President who scored 68, 994 votes in the four local governments of Kwara Central Senatorial District.

Reacting in a post on Twitter, Reno Omokri said although Sarki lost his seat, he went down with his head high.

He wrote, “Yes, @Bukola Saraki lost his Senate seat, but I respect him. He went down with his head held high.

“There is no basis to compare him to @SenatorAkpabio, a man who went to bow down to @MBuhari for power. What shall it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul?”
