Nigeria Re-Writes History, See First Female Signature To Appear On The Naira
In Nigeria’s 59-year history, the signature of a woman has never been printed on the naira, however, history took a new course today as Priscilla Ekwere Eleje, signature goes on the naira.
Eleje, who has been acting director of currency and operations at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), has been confirmed, substantive director. She is the first female director of currency in the history of the bank, and her signature has been appended on the naira, breaking another glass ceiling.

Former minister of Education Oby Ezekwesili has lambasted #EndSARS campaign convener, Segun Awosanya aka Segalink, describing him as “an extremely dark soul, young man.”

Senator Ahmed Lawan has dismissed insinuations in some quarters that the Senate will become a rubber-stamp body to President Muhammadu Buhari if he emerges the President of the Ninth National Assembly.
He made this known while speaking on Tuesday in Abuja when the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth Forum paid him a visit. Lawan, who is a front runner in the race for the presidency of the Ninth Senate, said the APC will be in trouble if Buhari leaves the party.

The Canadian embassy in Nigeria has slammed Dele Momodu over information he shared concerning allowing Nigerian immigrants into the country.

Customs Speaks On Recruiting Over 3,000 Nigerians
The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has officially announced plans to recruit 3,200 officers into the service.
Naija News reports that the Acting Deputy Comptroller-General of Customs in charge of Human Resources Department, Umar Sanusi made this known at a news conference in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital on Tuesday.
The Acting Deputy Comptroller-General explained that 800 would be recruited to fill vacancies in the Support Staff for Superintendent Cadre Category, and 2,400 would fill that of Customs Inspector and Customs Assistant Cadre in the General Duty Categories.
Atiku Releases ‘Evidence’ Of 2019 Election Result From INEC Server
The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 Presidential election, Atiku Abubakar, says the result he obtained from the server of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) shows he defeated President Muhammadu Buhari in the election.
Naija News reports that the PDP Presidential candidate gave the “unique MAC address and Microsoft product ID of the INEC server” from where the results were obtained in his submission to the presidential election tribunal.
INEC Gives Fresh Update On Imo North Senatorial Election
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Nigeria’s electoral umpire, says its committee has completed an investigation on allegations of misconduct in Imo North Senatorial election.
